Command The Stack

Communication Arts: Interactive Best-in-Show Education        | Webbys:  2 Honoree | ADC: Shortlist AR/VR/MR Innovation/Craft in Gaming–ExtendedReality 

If I told my 10 year old version that I'd be paid to be ideating, testing, and ultimately developing a game, I would certainly be looking forward to adult life.

This was by far the most fun project I've worked on. Special thanks to the GSD&M team and We Are Royale for making  the world's first AR aviation game a reality!

Over a year in the making, Command The Stack aims to spark a passion for aviation in the future generation of Airmen. In addition to giving users a taste of the teamwork and skill needed to accomplish every U.S. Air Force mission, the game also provides a rare look at some of the branch's most advanced aircraft. While airshows give spectators the chance to see aircraft in action, Command The Stack gives players the chance to pilot them in their own living spaces using AR technology.

🐢 TMNT x Pizza Hut 🍕

One Show: 2 Finalist, 8 Shortlist | Webbys: People’s Voice Winner, 2 Honoree ADC: 4 Shortlist | AICP Next: Shortlist | FWA: FWA of the Day

We brought Sewer Delivery home to millions of Turtle fans with a new AR game – powered by Niantic  – available by scanning a QR code on the box. Playing the role of a Pizza Hut delivery driver, fans were tasked with finding all four Turtles hiding under manholes all over the map, fighting mutants and ultimately delivering the pizza for a chance to win pizza, movie tickets and more.

Pizza Hut Weighted Blanket

I had this silly idea to create a weighted pizza blanket to promote the heavy pan pizza from Pizza Hut.  Now it's out there, and it sold out pretty fast. If you are looking for one you can probably still find it for 5x the price on eBay 🙂 

This weighted blanket also brought some much needed levity as we approached the end of the first Covid-19 year. 

"Gravity Blanket and Pizza Hut teamed up for a very special order, the Original Pan Weighted Blanket. Coming in a toasty 15-pounds, it’s made to look like a full pepperoni pizza. And at 72-inches in diameter it’s definitely a large pizza."

Voice Interaction Design

I’ve been pretty fascinated by Voice Tech since I got my first Google Home back in 2017.  I began tinkering with it until it eventually became a hobby. Below are a few of my explorations!

Love Has Been Added To Your Cart

Worked on this short film with with a group of talented friends. This was the first ever short film using an acting voice assistant! We submitted it to a few festivals and got some well deserved love. We got Official Screenings in Austin Spotlight Film Festival, iPhone Film Festival/MoziMotion, Austin Micro Short Film Festival, and Berlin Flash Film Festival.

Greengo Dictionary Google Action 

Greengo Dictionary translates unique Brazilian Portuguese expressions to English and highlights the humorous and specific meanings for each saying. It started on Facebook and Twitter and quickly became viral once it expanded to Instagram (1.8M+ followers). The differentiating factor for Greengo is its humorous approach to translations. While grammar and vocabulary are necessary, understanding how a culture uses everyday expressions is equally important to effective communication.

I collaborated with the account owner to develop an audio version for Google Home. Within the first month our Greengo Dictionary was listed within the Top 3 in Google’s Learn a Language action category.

Alexa Skills

Dwight Bot

I recorded several lines from Dwight and programmed them to become contextually triggered by user comments or questions. The backstory was that after creating Computron, Dwight transferred his superior brain and voice to live eternally within Alexa.

U.S. Air Force AFROTC Website 

Our team worked on a massive redesign of the U.S. Air Force ROTC website with a focus on admissions.

I built the content strategy and led the UX for a guiding pathing module. It was implemented to better guide users through a complex stage-based application process.

The site was designed to be compliant with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards.
